About Robert Meynell

Pragmatic. Deliberate. Passionate.

Robert has worked in real estate for over 20 years, first as an investor then in sales at leading international commercial brokerages where he specialised in multi-family assets. In recent years, he has broadened his business to include single-family residential.

Real estate is a second career for Robert. He started in academia, earning a PhD in Political Science and teaching at University of Ottawa, Trent and Waterloo. He has been published in academic journals and newspapers, and wrote a book entitled Canadian Idealism and the Philosophy of Freedom.

Robert grew up in midtown Toronto in a real estate family. He further developed his real estate instincts during his years in academia, investing in multi-family income properties. From buying, managing and maintenance, to repositioning and tenant management, Robert can relate directly to the challenges his clients face and the opportunities they are considering.

Robert’s life in academia was focused on public service, and that mindset informs how he does business. He provides service to his clients by helping them find either the ideal home or the ideal buyer, or advising them on identifying investment opportunities and facilitating a smooth transaction.
