About Maureen Gilleece

I love my profession. I chose it because I love helping people. Simple as that! Buying or selling a property can be stressful. For one thing, there are a lot of details, and attention to detail is one of my strengths. With an experienced eye for property, I can show sellers how to put their best foot forward, and advise buyers as they evaluate their options. I am patient; and I get to know the people I serve, putting their needs first, and fully respecting their time and their budget. The trust of my clients is a gift that I treasure.

In 2004, I moved from Toronto to Uxbridge and soon began looking for opportunities to support a community that I now called home. I became co-founder and sponsor of its Parkinson’s Support Group, and a proud supporter of the Jennifer Ashleigh Children’s Charity and Uxbridge Cat Rescue.

My skills as a business owner, retail general manager, and software marketer helped launch my career as a realtor in 2008. In 2010, I was honoured to be invited by Jim and Angela Wood to join the Wood Team. Jim’s unparalleled knowledge and generosity had already made him my mentor and friend, so it was an easy decision to make. His guidance has provided Angela and myself with a solid foundation to continue in his footsteps.

I’m a Leafs fan (although this is not always easy), an animal lover, a travel buff, and a pandemic-motivated bread maker. I think I’d describe myself as a life enthusiast, and I’d welcome the chance to share my enthusiasm with you to make your real estate journey a pleasure and a success.
