About Adam Wallace
If you’ve spent any time on the Muskoka Lakes, you’ll know that the name Wallace is synonymous with the Muskoka lifestyle, history and incomparable real estate expertise.
Adam Wallace was born and raised in Muskoka as a sixth generation Lake Rosseau resident, his ancestors settled on Lake Rosseau in the 1860’s living and working year-round. Growing up on Wallace Bay, Adam spent every possible moment out on the water, either fishing, boating or going back and forth to work at Muskoka Lakes Golf and Country Club. Part of his upbringing was surrounded by family business. Entrepreneurship is in his DNA – Adam’s parents and grandparents owned Paignton House, Wallace Marine, Richard Wallace Real Estate and The Fun Store, all of which have been part of innumerable memories for visitors, cottagers, and locals for decades. His love for the area and deep connection to the land, lakes and community has only grown over the years.
Adam graduated with a degree in Economics and was intentional and focused on following his grandmother and father’s footsteps in real estate sales. Graduating as a Real Estate Boker in 2008, Adam was grateful for the opportunity to learn from an icon in the Muskoka real estate scene, his father Richard Wallace. Richard’s career spanned 52 years and without question, Richard was an integral part of transforming the Muskoka real estate market to what it is today. Starting off selling real estate at Wallace Marine and eventually owning real estate offices in Port Carling, Bracebridge, Minett and Gravenhurst, Richard paved the way for many sales representatives over his remarkable career. Some notable accomplishments of the Wallace Family include selling 15 private islands on Lake Rosseau and Joseph, over 50 miles of shoreline on the upper lakes and brokering the sale of several Muskoka resorts including Maplehurst, Rossmoyne, Juddhaven and Tartan House.
Through his knowledge and guidance Adam honed his own business values as a real estate broker: transparent communication, dedication to his clients and community and unwavering integrity. He takes pride in the legacy that his father and grandmother created for him, and it fuels his passion to excel in all aspects of delivering quality service to clients. Adam is experienced in skillful negotiation for on-and-off market properties, forward-thinking, targeted marketing and in-depth knowledge of the area and market.
The knowledge base he presents to potential and existing clients is not limited to real estate, he’s acted as the General Contractor for two custom home builds in Muskoka Lakes where he has first-hand experience and knowledge of the by-laws, the building industry, land use and development, and the required trades to make dream projects come to life.
Adam’s track record is solid and has a trustworthy reputation with his community and peers. He’s spent the last two decades excelling in a highly competitive market, notably representing the buyer in purchasing a $25M Lake Joseph estate, one of the highest sales on the Muskoka Lakes to date.
Having worked as a Broker/Owner for Richard Wallace Real Estate for 13 years, Adam created a strong network of trusted professionals and a deep pool of contacts. Adam has taken another step forward in his real estate career, as a Broker for Chestnut Park Real Estate Limited, the #1 real estate brokerage in Port Carling.
Adam lives in Minett, with his wife Sarah and two children, Claire and Rachel. Each morning Adam and Sarah wake up to the sunrise over Lake Rosseau raising seventh generation Muskoka kids, just around the corner from Wallace Bay.
